What we collect
- Parent / guardian name, email, mobile number.
- Swimmer's name, age, medical notes and emergency contact.
- Booking history and cancellation records.
- Photos taken during lessons — only where you have given photo consent.
- Anonymous, cookieless page-view counts via Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Why we collect it
To run swimming lessons safely: to confirm your booking, to reach you if a class is cancelled, to hand your instructor the medical notes they need, and to reach an emergency contact in the (very rare) event of an incident.
POPIA & children
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), children's personal information is prohibited by default. We process it only with prior, informed consent from a parent or legal guardian — collected at booking as a required tickbox.
Photos & consent
Photo consent is a separate tick from lesson consent. Consenting to lessons does not consent to your child appearing in photos.

How long we keep it

- Medical & emergency contact
- While enrolled + 30 days.
- Gallery photos
- Per album (usually one term). Removed on request.

Indemnity for pool activities
Swimming lessons carry inherent risk. Please make sure your medical disclosure at booking is accurate — it directly affects the coach's supervision plan.
